You have questions, we have answers! Think of this as your go-to guide for answering those pressing questions and helping photo day feel simple, smooth, and stress-free.
Do you offer bundles for multiple sessions?
Our most popular bundles are:
- Milestone Session Package: Four sessions, one great price! Capture the big (and little) moments at your home or a favorite local park. You’ve got a two-year window to use your sessions, so you can space them out however works best for your family.
- Bloom Session Package: Two sessions perfectly timed to celebrate your family’s story. From baby bumps to first birthdays (and everything in between), these shoots are made for the essential moments in your life.

How many images will be in my gallery?
Gallery image counts vary by session length. You'll typically receive around 35 images for a full session and 10-15 images for mini sessions. Visit our sessions page for more information about the image count for each type of session.
Are the digital images included?
Digital images are included in our Single, Headshot, Pictures in the Park, and Party sessions. They are not included in our Milestone and Bloom packages but may be purchased for an additional fee.
How long is a session?
A typical session lasts 45-50 minutes, but you can book extended time for parties or events. We also offer seasonal Pictures in the Park sessions which typically last 15-30 minutes. We tailor each session to your needs and work with you to allocate the perfect amount of time.
Who can participate in the session?
Sessions are for immediate family only. Extended family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) may participate for an additional $25 per family member. Limit 8 people in a single session.
Can I include my pets in the session?
Yes, we love four-legged friends! Pets are welcome in home sessions or at outdoor sessions if your chosen location allows them. Please confirm that your desired location allows pets before scheduling your session or ask your photographer about their favorite pet-friendly spots.
If possible, we suggest bringing a friend or family member (who won’t be in the photoshoot) to help handle your pet.
How do I prepare for my session?
Here’s the highlights!
- Tidy living spaces before your photographer arrives. Popular areas of the home for a session include: living room, main bedroom, baby’s nursery, front/back yard.
- For younger children, scheduling your session after nap time can help them feel more relaxed and ready to smile.
- If you'd like to offer a snack before or during the session, we recommend choosing mess-free options that won't stain faces or outfits (think crackers instead of chocolate).
- Choose props with safety in mind. Cute is great but safe is non-negotiable. Small objects, wobbly items, or hanging props can pose risks, so we’ll stick to props that are sturdy, cozy, and safe for little ones.
- Secure your pets before your photographer arrives or have someone on hand to help if you plan to include them during your session.
We want the real you to shine through. Feel free to share any ideas with us before your session and we will do our best to bring your vision to life!

What should we wear?
Dress up or dress down. The best outfits are the ones that feel like you. We do suggest skipping shirts with big logos, characters, or text so the spotlight stays on your family, not your clothes. Accessories and jewelry are great too, as long as they don’t steal the show. For group photos, try to coordinate your clothes, but not necessarily match (think “siblings” not “twins”). When should I schedule my newborn session?
The sweet spot for newborn photos is within the first two weeks. Those tiny toes and sleepy snuggles don’t last long! Contact us before delivery to pencil in a date for your session (we know babies have their own schedules!).
Getting ready for your session:
- A full tummy and a fresh diaper usually help things go smoothly, but if you need a break to feed or change your baby, we’re happy to pause.
- Have any signs, blankets, or props you’d like to use chosen and easily accessible before your photographer arrives.
- Safety first! Please choose props that rest firmly on the floor & will not tip over.

Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! Pictures in the Park are our seasonal mini sessions. These events are hosted at select locations and include a digital download of your gallery. Sessions fill fast, so join our mailing list to be first to know when we announce a new event!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
Please let us know at least 72 hours in advance, and we’ll be happy to help you reschedule your session for a new date. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

Smiles captured, what’s next?
The hard part is over, well, beside choosing your favorites. If you’re wondering “what happens now?” you’ve come to the right place.
What happens after my photoshoot?
After your session, your photographer carefully edits and finalizes your images. Once everything is ready, typically within 5-7 business days after your session, you'll receive an email letting you know your gallery is available to view.
Can I choose my final images?
Your photographer selects the highest-quality images from your session to ensure your gallery reflects Bella Life’s photography standards. Images are chosen based on lighting, composition, and overall technical strength. Your final gallery is lightly edited and delivered fully prepared for viewing and ordering.
When will I see my photos?
Bella Life is proud to offer a fast turnaround. You can expect to receive your completed gallery within 5-7 days of your session.
How long will my photos be available?
Your gallery is available online for 2 weeks after your session. We encourage you to place your order within that time. After 2 weeks, your gallery will be archived. If you'd like to revisit your photos and make a purchase at a later date, fill out our gallery restore request form or contact our customer service team at (888) 455-7826 or email bellalife@bellababyphotography.com to begin the process of restoring your gallery.
My session included the digital images. How do I download my photos?
You can expect to receive an email from your photographer within 5-7 days of your session with instructions on how to access your online gallery & download your images.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer a 10% discount on additional purchases from select session types.

I purchased a package with multiple sessions. How do I schedule my next session?
If you're currently working with a photographer, reach out to them to schedule your next session or email our customer service team at bellalife@bellababyphotography.com for your booking code.
Do you offer additional editing?
All galleries include one complimentary edit prior to delivery to refine lighting, color balance, and tone for a natural, timeless finish.

From cart to keepsake
Your memories are on the way to you. Find answers to common post-order questions while you wait.
When will I receive my order?
Most products are delivered within 2–3 weeks. Please note that some items such as birth announcements and canvases ship separately from standard prints and may arrive at different times. Once your order ships, tracking number(s) will be emailed to you separately as they become available.
Certain products, including birth announcements and holiday cards, require your approval before production begins. Once we receive your authorization, the 2–3 week production timeline starts at that time.
I purchased a digital download of my photos. How do I download them?
If you purchased the digital download or a package that includes your digital images, locate the email from info@bellababyphotography.com with the subject line “Your Bella Life Download is Ready”. This email contains a download link and instructions for downloading your gallery. If you don't see the email, please check your spam or junk folder.
Help! My download link expired!
No worries, contact us at (888) 455-7826 or bellalife@bellababyphotography.com and provide your order confirmation number. We will send you a new download link within 24 hours.
My package never arrived. What should I do?
Please locate your tracking email to access your tracking link and number. With this information, you can contact either UPS or USPS to file a claim for the lost package. Once you receive your claim number, email us at bellalife@bellababyphotography.com and we’ll be happy to assist.
My package arrived damaged, how do I submit a claim?
In these situations we can file a claim with the lab. To file the claim, we will need a picture of the damage. Please email a photo of the damage to bellalife@bellababyphotography.com and include your order confirmation number. Once we receive the photos we can proceed with filing an internal claim.
I just submitted an order. Can I make a change to it now?
Our orders are processed quickly, and we’re unable to make changes once an order has been submitted.
I accidentally forgot to include my apartment number on my order. Can you add it for me?
Once an order has been placed, we’re unable to update the delivery address on our end. However, you may be able to request a redirection directly through the carrier. To do this, visit the USPS or UPS Intercept a Package page and follow the steps to see if your shipment is eligible for address modification or redirection.
